MKSSS’s Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture to Host First International Conference on Ferrocement
Pune –A two-day International Conference 2025 on the “Art, Science & Technology of Ferrocement Construction” will be held in *hybrid mode from Friday, 12 September to Saturday, 13 September 2025.The event is co-hosted by the Ferrocement Society (India) and MKSSS’s Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture for Women.* The program will be inaugurated by Prof. Ar. Abhay Purohit, President of the Council of Architecture and keynote sessions across both days with leading academics, practitioners, and industry experts from India and overseas, including contributors from Italy, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Themes span structural analysis and design, expeditionary architecture and engineering, research and development in major infrastructure firms, practice-led innovation, and architectural applications of ferrocement.
Highlighting the importance of the event, Dr. Anurag Kashyap, Principal of BNCA, said, “It is an honor to host the International Conference on Ferrocement—a material that holds immense promise for the future of the construction industry.
