Sri Chaitanya Techno School Once Again Proves Academic Excellence When Student Creates History at Olympiad (IMO 2024)

Sri Chaitanya Techno School, Bavdhan, Pune, proudly announces that MV Adhithya, a student who has been studying from 6th grade in the school, currently in 12th grade, has once again proven his mathematical excellence by winning a gold medal at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) 2024 which recently held in England. This prestigious competition, which began in 1989, has seen India rise to new heights thanks to Adhithya’s remarkable achievement.

In 2001, India’s top individual performance was 7th place by Shashank Sharma. After 23 years, MV Adhithya has achieved World’s 5th place individually and India is in 4th position at the IMO in 2024— the highest ever for an Indian participant. Not only him, but Siddharth Chopra, another Grade 10 graduate student of the same school, had secured 9th Rank and Silver Medal previous year. Presently, he has secured honourable mention. This advancement reflects both Adhithya’s and Siddharth’s personal brilliance and the growing strength of Indian mathematics.

Both Adhithya and Siddharth’s parents have expressed their gratitude to all the mentors at Sri Chaitanya Techno School, Bavdhan, Pune. Naturally, they feel proud of this incredible achievement of their children.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his congratulations to the team, recognizing this exceptional accomplishment and the pride it brings to the nation.
