Bringing the Deprived into the Mainstream is Essential to Make India a Vishwa Guru: RSS Chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat.

Amanora YES Foundation Develops Three Magnificent, State-of-the-Art Sports Complexes at Pardhi-Adivasi Ashram School in Khamgaon.

Khamgaon : The nomadic and denotified communities that we know today across the country were once rich in knowledge and wisdom. They stepped out of their homes to share their knowledge selflessly with society, but over the course of time, they became nomadic and deprived. During British rule, the entire Pardhi-Adivasi community was branded as a “criminal tribe” for participating in the freedom struggle, resulting in the community remaining deprived of development opportunities for decades.
“Today, seeing the state-of-the-art facilities created for the children of the Pardhi community at this Ashram School of Shri Sadguru Dharmik Evam Parmarthik Trust, with the support and initiative of Amanora YES Foundation, gives me immense happiness and inner satisfaction. If India is to truly become a Vishwa Guru, it is essential to bring such deprived sections of society into the mainstream,” said RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat.
Dr. Mohan Bhagwat was speaking at the inauguration of three state-of-the-art sports complexes and various other facilities developed with the support of Amanora YES Foundation at the Pardhi-Adivasi Ashram School in Khamgaon. The school was established through the initiative and inspiration of the late Bhayyaji Maharaj.
The inauguration ceremony was held on Friday, August 8, in the presence of several dignitaries, including Maharashtra Tribal Development Minister Dr. Ashok Uike, Labour Minister Akash Fundkar, City Corporation Managing Director Aniruddha Deshpande, and Dr. Ayushi Deshmukh, Trustee of Shri Sadguru Dharmik Evam Parmarthik Trust, Indore, among others.
Dr. Bhagwat Inspects State-of-the-Art Facilities
Prior to the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Mohan Bhagwat inspected the various development initiatives undertaken at the Ashram School with the support of Amanora YES Foundation.
He visited the modern sports facilities developed for the students, the kitchen and dining facilities, the vegetable garden cultivated by the students, and the hostel premises. The students of the Ashram School warmly welcomed Dr. Bhagwat.
“The Pardhi Community Never Accepted Subjugation”
Dr. Mohan Bhagwat said that Indian society was once highly organised and united. Foreign invasions gradually led to the subjugation of society and subsequently to social fragmentation. As a result, several sections of society became deprived and marginalised.
However, he said, the deprived sections of society never accepted subjugation and continued to struggle for freedom. During British rule, the Pardhi and Adivasi communities were branded as “criminals”, severely affecting their social and economic development.
He further said that the RSS has been working for the development of the Pardhi community for many years. In this context, the late Bhayyaji Maharaj took the important initiative of establishing the Ashram School.
“Today, Amanora YES Foundation is working to give this institution a new identity and to empower its students to become self-reliant. This is certainly a commendable and exemplary initiative,” Dr. Bhagwat said.
“Our Work for the Development of the Deprived Will Continue”: Aniruddha Deshpande
In his introductory address, Aniruddha Deshpande, Managing Director of City Corporation, said that Amanora YES Foundation began working for the transformation and development of the Ashram School following the guidance and suggestions of Dr. Mohan Bhagwat.
“Today, the children of the Pardhi-Adivasi community are soaring towards progress, empowerment and self-reliance. This is a moment of immense pride and gratitude for all of us,” Deshpande said.
He added that Amanora YES Foundation is undertaking several initiatives in education, healthcare and various other social sectors to contribute towards the development of deprived communities and bring about meaningful social transformation.
“We assure you that these initiatives will continue with the same commitment in the years ahead,” he said.
Government Committed to the Development of Tribal Communities: Dr. Ashok Uike
Tribal Development Minister Dr. Ashok Uike said that the government is continuously working for the development of the Pardhi and Adivasi communities. Various schemes and initiatives are being implemented for their overall social and economic development.
Labour Minister Akash Fundkar said that the Ashram School is a matter of pride for Khamgaon. The work being undertaken for the development and better future of children from deprived communities is truly commendable.
Financial Assistance to 16 Pardhi-Adivasi Girls
During the programme, 16 Pardhi-Adivasi girl students were presented cheques of ₹10,000 each by Dr. Mohan Bhagwat.
Former students of the Ashram School who are making significant contributions in various fields were also felicitated by Dr. Bhagwat for their achievements.
The programme was conducted by Vivek Kulkarni, while Headmaster Rathod proposed the vote of thanks.
The event was attended by Legislative Council Member Ambadas Danve, Chikhali MLA Shweta Mahale, Jalgaon Jamod MLA Sanjay Kute, along with several dignitaries, social workers, students and prominent citizens from various fields.
