IndianOil Ensures Uninterrupted Fuel Supplies Across Rural Maharashtra ahead of Agricultural Season

Pune :IndianOil continues to maintain smooth and uninterrupted supplies of Petrol (MS), Diesel (HSD) and LPG across Maharashtra amid the ongoing seasonal increase in fuel demand in several districts of the state.

In recent days, IndianOil has witnessed a significant surge in the offtake of petroleum products across Maharashtra. Petrol (MS) retail sales have recorded a year-on-year growth of 22% for the period May 1–25, 2026, while Diesel (HSD) retail sales have grown by 33% over the same period reflecting heightened seasonal demand.

The current increase in diesel demand is primarily driven by agricultural activities across farming regions of Maharashtra, where farmers are actively preparing fields for the upcoming sowing season. IndianOil has been closely coordinating logistics and supply operations to ensure uninterrupted fuel availability for agricultural as well as domestic needs.

Farmers and customers from districts including Nagpur, Jalna, Buldhana, Akola, Washim and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar have shared positive feedback regarding the smooth availability of diesel and uninterrupted services at IndianOil retail outlets.

A farmer from Jalna shared, “This is an important time for farming activities, and we require diesel regularly for tractors and field preparation. We are getting fuel without any issue from IndianOil pumps.”

Another customer from Washim said, “Diesel is easily available at the IndianOil retail outlet near our village, which is supporting farmers well during this busy farming season.”

IndianOil reassures consumers that adequate stocks of Petrol, Diesel and LPG are available across the country. Citizens are advised to continue with normal purchasing behaviour and avoid panic buying, and to rely only on official communications from IndianOil and its authorised agencies for accurate information on fuel availability.
