Admission Process Begins for Modern and Value-Based Jain Hostel in Pune

Opportunity for Students from Maharashtra and Across India

Pune : With the aim of providing safe, value-oriented, and modern accommodation facilities to Jain community students coming to Pune for education, Amrita Sunil Gandhi and Smruti Shrutesh Gandhi have launched a social initiative.

As part of this initiative, a state-of-the-art Jain Boys Hostel with a capacity of around 70 students was started in the Kothrud area last year. The hostel has received an encouraging response from both students and parents.

The admission process for the upcoming academic year has now commenced. Jain students from Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and various parts of the country will have the opportunity to seek admission.

The founders have placed special emphasis on providing students with a homely environment, disciplined lifestyle, quality food arrangements, and modern study facilities. The hostel offers amenities such as AC rooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, a gym, and indoor games. Along with this, a positive atmosphere enriched with Jain values and संस्कार has been created. Keeping the all-round development of students in mind, a peaceful, secure, and motivating campus has been developed.

In addition, other accommodation facilities for students have also been established in different parts of Pune. A Jain Girls PG for female students has been started on Bhandarkar Road, offering a safe and well-equipped environment. Similarly, a Jain Boys PG has been arranged in Narayan Peth, which is proving beneficial for students pursuing higher education and preparing for competitive examinations.

Considering future requirements, work on another ultra-modern Jain hostel project in Pune is currently underway, the founders informed.

Meanwhile, the inauguration of a grand Jain temple built in the Kothrud area is proposed for this year. The temple will help connect students with a spiritual environment, prayer, meditation, and Jain values, thereby encouraging cultural and spiritual development along with education.

The initiative is being run with the objective of providing “modern facilities, Jain values, a safe environment, and a bright future,” the founders stated.
