IMA Felicitates Rajyasabha MP Medha Kulkarni

Indian Medical Association Pune congratulated and felicitated Rajyasabha MP Medhatai Kulkarni at Dr. Nitu Mandke IMA House, Pune on Sunday 17th March 2024.

The new Financial Diary of Indian Medical Association Pune was released by Rajyasabha MP Hon. Medha Kulkarni and she graced the occasion as Chief Guest at IMA Pune’s Award Function. Hon. Medhatai appreciated IMA’s work and has appealed all doctors to contact her for their problems. President Dr. Raju Varyani, Chairman Dr. Bhutkar, Exc Trustee Dr. Sanjay Patil and Dr. Jayant Navarange expressed their thoughts.  Secretary Dr. Geetanjali Sharma conducted the programme and congratulated and appreciated Hon. Medhatai through her beautiful poem.

Diary Chairman Dr. Sanjay Deshmukh, Dr. Sumit Shah and Dr. Sunil Ingale explained the theme ‘ Oncology’ of this year’s diary and importance of Cancer awareness.

Dr. Dilip Sarda was awarded IMA Pune’s Life Time Achievement Award. Dr. Maya Tulpule was felicitated with IMA Community – Social work award. Dr. Surekha Shinde, HOD, Anesthesia was awarded Dr.  M. G. Shahade award and Dr. Parikshit Prayag was awarded Young Achiever Award.

All awardees thanked IMA and expressed their wish to continue the good work joining hands with IMA. Dr. Sachin lakade, secretary gave vote of thanks. All IMA committee members and many citizens of Pune attended the programme.
