Christ University – Pune Lavasa Campus signs MOU with Bell Foods Group
Pune : Christ University – Pune Lavasa Campus has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Bell Foods Group to enhance student learning through mutual collaboration. The MOU was signed by Fr. (Dr) Lijo Thomas, Campus Director and Dr. Sherimon PC, Dean – Computer Science, Arab Open University, Oman and Chairman – Bell Foods, marking a significant step towards fostering industry-academia collaboration.
This partnership aims to provide students with hands-on experience and real-world insights through internships, projects, and industry visits. Additionally, Bell Foods Group will benefit from the consulting expertise of the Management Dept., driving mutual growth and innovation. Fr. (Dr) Lijo emphasised the importance of such collaborations in bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical industry skills, while Dr Sherimon highlighted the potential for students to gain invaluable exposure to the food industry’s dynamic landscape. This MOU is expected to create numerous opportunities for students, preparing them to meet the challenges of the professional world with confidence and competence.
