Second International AyurHealth Conference to be held in Vietnam
A platform for students, researchers, doctors, and professionals from across the globe
Pune: India’s ancient traditions of Ayurveda and Yoga are gaining growing popularity worldwide. Based on maintaining balance between body, mind, and soul, these sciences are offering natural and effective solutions to modern lifestyle-related ailments (such as diabetes, obesity, hypertension, mental stress, etc.). For this reason, Ayurveda and Yoga are no longer limited to treatment methods but are now being recognized globally as a complete lifestyle science.
Against this backdrop, Shiv International Fraternity of Ayurveda (SIFA), in collaboration with Swan Foundation and Shiv Ayurveda, Singapore, is organizing the Second International AyurHealth Conference. The conference will be held on November 1–2, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with the support of the AYUSH Department, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik (MUHS) and the Indian Embassy in Vietnam.
Speaking about the conference, Dr. Shilpa Swar (Kesarkar), Founder and CEO of SIFA, said:
“The primary objective of this conference is to bring together students, researchers, doctors, entrepreneurs, and global institutions in the field of Ayurveda and Yoga. The mission of SIFA and Shiv Ayurveda is to promote Ayurveda and Yoga worldwide and provide Indian experts an international platform. The first conference was held in Singapore in 2023, with participation from over 100 delegates across 8 countries. This year, Vietnam was chosen as the venue since South Asian countries are rapidly emerging as hubs for Ayurveda, opening up global opportunities for Indian professionals and students.”
Dr. Shilpa Swar (Kesarkar) and Dr. Jyoti Mundargi (SIFA member) appealed through the media for maximum participation from delegates to take advantage of this opportunity.
Shruti Arya, a life coach working in Seychelles, shared insights on global opportunities in the wellness and yoga sector. She said:
“There are numerous opportunities worldwide in wellness and yoga. In the US alone, there are over 50,000 wellness and yoga centers. Additionally, countries like Turkey, Dubai, Ireland, and New Zealand also offer vast and growing opportunities in this sector. People in India should be aware of these opportunities and benefit from them.”
Shashikant Kamble, President of Swan Foundation, said:
“This conference will play a crucial role in the globalization of Ayurveda and Yoga. Vietnam and other South Asian countries are currently creating a large market for Ayurveda. This will open up new opportunities for Indian experts.”
