Helicopter Assistance by Army for rescue operations at Girna river

Nashik : Around 15 fishermen who were stranded at an island of Girna River, Tal Malegoan , Dist. Nashik were rescued by Army helicopter on 5th Aug 24. After a request received from District Disaster Management Authority on 5th Aug 24 at 0923 hrs for evacuation of fishermen, Army put its one Advanced Light Helicopter ( Dhruv ) into action and rescued them . Another ALH was kept on standby for support.
