ALL INDIA NAU SAINIK CAMP 2023 INAUGURATED AT INS SHIVAJI

Maj Gen YP Khanduri, ADG, NCC Dte Maharashtra formally inaugurated the All India Nau Sainik Camp (AINSC-23 ) at INS Shivaji, Lonavla on 15 Oct 23. A total of 408 Senior Division Boys and 204 Senior Wing Girl cadets from 17 NCC Directorates across the country are participating in the camp and would compete in the fields of boat pulling, ship-modelling, drill, whaler boat rigging, semaphore, service subjects, seamanship practical’s and small arms firing. In addition to the competitions and cultural programmes, the cadets will have the unique opportunity to visit state of the art marine engineering training facilities at INS Shivaji.

The ADG NCC welcomed the cadets to the camp that would provide them exposure on various fields of adventure and discipline. Speaking on the occasion, he said that this camp is a crucible of leadership development and serves as a testament to the diversity that defines our nation and our collective commitment to nation-building.
