Ujjivan Small Finance Bank associates with MoonFest to inspire young minds through Space & Science

630 students from 40 schools create Aryabhata satellite replicas simultaneously, earning Asia Book of Records recognition

Pune : On the occasion of National Space Day, G. G. Shah English Medium School, Pune, in association with the Indo Science Education Trust and ISRO-STC Pune, hosted a special space and science initiative that brought together students from across Pune and neighbouring regions. Ujjivan Small Finance Bank joined the initiative as the branding and experience partner under the theme “MoonFest.”

The initiative brought together 630 students from 40 schools, who simultaneously created replicas of Aryabhata, India’s first satellite, culminating in recognition by the Asia Book of Records.

The initiative offered students an opportunity to explore space science through a range of immersive experiences, including a mobile planetarium, VR Moon Walk, 3D space experiences, telescope-based observation, astronaut-themed installations and interactive learning experiences.

A key highlight was the interaction between students and ISRO scientists, who shared insights into India’s space programme, satellite technology and achievements in space exploration, inspiring students to develop greater curiosity towards science and space.

Through its participation in MoonFest, Ujjivan Small Finance Bank was pleased to be associated with an initiative that encouraged curiosity, learning and aspiration among students and young minds.
