Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) to Organize “RISE India: Leadership Summit 2026” in Pune
Pune: The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) is organizing the “RISE India: Leadership Summit 2026” on January 30, 2026, at Hotel Vivanta in Pune. The summit’s theme is “Strategic Leadership in Global Capability Centres (GCCs): CMAs as Architects of Value Creation,” highlighting the growing strategic role of Cost and Management Accountants (CMAs) in the global business environment.
According to CMA Neeraj Dhananjay Joshi, Vice President of ICMAI, India has become one of the largest hubs for Global Capability Centres (GCCs), which are playing significant roles in innovation, analytics, financial leadership, and digital transformation. He stated that with expertise in strategy, cost management, performance analysis, and risk management, CMAs can make substantial strategic contributions within GCCs.
Industry leaders, heads of GCCs, senior finance professionals, policymakers, education experts, and CMA members are expected to participate in the summit to discuss future leadership needs and global best practices.
The event is being organized by ICMAI’s Career Counselling and Placement Committee in collaboration with the ICMAI Pune Chapter, and led by CMA Vinay Ranjan.
