The collaboration will also support Master’s and PhD thesis research where the outcomes are intended for public dissemination and academic publication.

Education leaders from Teckschool stated that the initiative would give local engineering students valuable exposure to professional VHDL and SystemVerilog design environments and help bridge the gap between classroom learning and the semiconductor industry. The license granted under the MoU is non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, and royalty-free, and is strictly limited to academic and research purposes.

Sigasi NV, headquartered in Gentbrugge, Belgium, is globally recognized for developing intelligent editing and verification solutions for digital hardware design. Company representatives emphasized that supporting academic communities worldwide is a core objective, and the signing in Pune reflects Sigasi’s commitment to nurturing next-generation chip design talent.
