Janaseva Award 2025 for Cochlea Pune for Hearing and Speech

Pune : The Janaseva Award, instituted by Janaseva Sahakari Bank, will this year be conferred upon Cochlea Pune for Hearing and Speech, an NGO dedicated to the rehabilitation of children with congenital hearing impairments. This information was given at a press conference by Dr. Rajendra Hiremath, Chairman, Janaseva Sahakari Bank,  Ravi Tupe , Vice Chairman, Rajendra Valekar, Director,Rajan Wadke, Director,  Sachin Shirude, Director  and Shirish Polekar, Chief Executive Officer, Janaseva Sahakari Bank.

Since the  inception  of the Janaseva Awards in 1998 , they have  been presented annually as part of the bank’s anniversary celebrations to honour organisations offering exceptional service in the fields of social work, healthcare, education, and community service.

This year marks the 26th edition of the award and the 53rd anniversary of the bank. The award ceremony will be held on Saturday 1 November 2025 at Vitthal Tupe Theatre, Malwadi, Hadapsar, Pune – 411 028 ( 5.30 pm ) . The recipient organisation will receive a cheque of ₹1,01,000/- along with a certificate of appreciation.

Chief Guest and Motivational Speaker, Shri. Ganesh Shinde,will address the attendees on the topic “Life is Beautiful” .The  program will be  chaired by  Dr. Pravin Dabadghav,  Prant Karyavah of RSS (Western Maharashtra) .
