Noble Hospitals and Research Centre Hosts Inspiring Panel Discussion on Women Empowerment During Navratri

Empowerment is when we can empower or  uplift others – DCP Namrata Patil

Pune  – In celebration of the empowering spirit of Navaratri, Noble Hospitals and Research Centre hosted an engaging panel discussion titled “Women as Changemakers: Leadership, Legacy & Liberalisation.” The event brought together dynamic women leaders from diverse fields to share their journeys, challenges, and impact as agents of change in society.

Namrata Patil, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr. Pradeep Lokhande, Founder Rural Relations,  Mamta Sapkal , Director Mamta Bal Sadan, Sonia Konjeti, Founder PULA Group , Prerna Priyadarshini Sangram Gaikwad , President of Rotary Club of Pune Riverside . RJ Bandya was the guest of honor for the session . Dr. Dileep Mane, Chairman Noble Hospitals and Research Centre, Dr.Divij Mane, Director ,  Dr.Sanjay Pathare, Group Executive Officer were present on the occasion.

Namrata Patil said that  the feeling  of empowerment comes from  empowering others, especially  the vulnerable and this is something that I was able to do after joining the  Police Department .

Mamta Sapkal said that women should be able to listen to the inner voice and only then can one understand her capacities . My mother did not interfere in my decisions , whether it was a choice of education, she felt that I was already empowered.

Sonia Konjeti said that many women are from the background where empowerment is necessary. Empowerment is about equal opportunities. Financial empowerment is important, financial and emotional independence is equally important. Journey becomes easy with the support of men in the family .

Prerna Priyadarshini Sangram Gaikwad said that empowerment is about supporting each other to rise. As India transitions, women need all the support to break the shackles and move forward.

Mr. Pradeep Lokhande said that more than empowerment , it is important to understand that women are changemakers. Citing the positive changes that have happened in gram panchayats all over India because of the increasing participation of women, he said that India is changing and there are a lot of positives that we can see .

Dr. Divij Mane, Director Noble Hospitals and Research Centre said that the thought-provoking discussion aimed to highlight the evolving role of women in shaping a more inclusive future, while honouring the essence of leadership and resilience that Navaratri symbolizes.
