“Good Friday” is celebrated with devotion and respect at Vineyard Workers Church, Dapodi
Pune: The holy day of Good Friday was celebrated with great devotion at Vineyard Workers Church, Dapodi. Thousands of believers gathered to remember the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ for the salvation of mankind.
In this special service led by the founding Bishop, Dr Peter David Silway and Pastor, Dr Jayashri Peter Silway, the spiritual meaning of ‘Good Friday’ was explained through a message given in English and Marathi. Bishop Silway explained how divine love and hope of salvation are hidden in the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. Bishop Peter said that the cross is not just a symbol of pain, but a sacred and divine bridge of reunion between God and man. The meeting concluded with a touching skit based on the life of Lord Jesus Christ. This skit effectively depicted every stage from His birth to His sacrifice on the cross, which filled the hearts of the attendees and transformed the lives of many. This time, Easter Sunday will be celebrated with joy and victory at Vineyard Workers Church, Dapodi, on April 20. A warm invitation was extended to all to experience and join the divine ceremony commemorating the resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ at 10 AM. On this occasion, all the office bearers, members of Vineyard Church, and citizens were present in large numbers.
