‘Those who crippled the Country’s economy speaking of economically self reliance is a cruel irony,’ Congress State Unit Spekesman Gopaldada Tiwari

Pune : Congress State Unit Spekesman Gopaldada Tiwari today launched a blistering attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party led National Democratic Alliance government saying that those who have transferred most of the public property in the country to their private industrialist cronies boasting about making the Country economically self reliant is not only a cruel irony but also blatant shamelessness.

Tiwari said, “A whopping 26 crore citizens of the country were elevated above the poverty line under the able leadership of Dr Manmohan Singh during the tenure of the UPA 1 and UPA 2 government and the country was all set to become a economic power by 2014. However, the BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi waived largest amount of loans taken by businessmen for the first time. Moreover, the cronies of the Bhashan Jeevi leader committed highest number of bank frauds ever since the country attained freedom, plundering the public wealth and fled abroad.”

Pointing out that Modi government was the first government in the 70 year long history to have withdrawn from the standing capital of the Reserve Bank of India, he added, it also committed the traitorous sin of using demonetisation for laundering black money and thus stabbed in the back of the national economy. “The people who have done all this speaking about economic self reliance is deception by the shameless and morally bankrupt leadership,” he said.

Tiwari accused the Modi government of pushing the country in the quagmire of inflation and unemployment, allowing slavery of Indian youths in foreign countries in the name of employment and further to divert attention from the horrendous conditions by constantly releasing false advertisements showing a rosy picture.

Taking a dig at the Prime Minister for his statement “I would not spare a single corrupt person” he said the country has already witnessed how target of bringing all corrupt persons in Modi-Shah duo’s ‘Vikasit BJP’. The Bhashan Jeevi himself has been giving red carpet treatment to those against whom allegations of corruption were made over the period of 10 years, he added.

Accusing the Modi Government of working on single point agenda of lying and misleading people, he appealed the people to pull down the ‘Vikasit BJP’ that approved corruption by defeating it in the oncoming elections.
