DIAT PROFESSORS IN RANKING OF TOP 2% SCIENTIST OF STANFORD
UNIVERSITY RANKING-2023
Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DU), Pune under the aegis of DRDO is committed in creating a centre of Excellence for Education, Training, research in contemporary and futuristic Technologies by way of continual improvement and consistent Innovation in Defence.
The Stanford University, US for 2023 released ranking of top 2% Scientist around the world who are experts in their technical domains. Though there were various challenges in publishing Defence related technologies, 4 faculty members of DIAT (DU) were featured in the report in the verticals of Materials (Prof. Balasubramanian K.), Chemical (Prof. P. K. Khanna and Prof. P. Kulkarni) and Electronics Engineering (Dr. Bazil Raz). Recently, faculty members of DIAT were also felicitated by Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (UK) and Fellow if Indian National Academy of Engineers. DIAT(DU), is evolving as Unique Research University to develop indigenous contemporary Defence related technologies, secured 57th rank in the recent NIRF ranking of MHRD.
On this achievement, Dr. C. P. Ramanarayanan, Vice Chancellor, DIAT quoted that the institute is geared up to work as a big team for accomplishing security of the Nation through Atmanirbhar Bharat.
