Euler Motors celebrates Baramati as an emerging EV city
On World Environment Day last week, Baramati – long known across Maharashtra as a renowned milk city, marked its rise as an emerging hub for electric vehicle adoption. Local commercial operators have been steadily switching from diesel, petrol and CNG to electric vehicles, and adoption has grown quickly, with over 125 Euler electric vehicles now running on Baramati’s roads.
A major draw has been the lower running cost. Operators who once spent ₹40,000–50,000 a month on diesel and CNG say that figure has dropped to ₹3,000–5,000 on electric, a saving that, alongside a purchase price on par with fuel vehicles and reliable service, has significantly boosted adoption.
At the customer meet, Euler Motors Founder and CEO Saurav Kumar joined local leaders and dignitaries to felicitate the town’s EV operators and congratulate Baramati on building a reputation as an emerging EV adopting city. Many customers and dignitaries marked World Environment Day by resolving to push electric adoption further.
