Values Are Indispensable in Business: Ramesh Agrawal
New Executive Committee of Pune Brotherhood Foundation Assumes Office
Pune: Values hold undeniable importance not only in business but in life as a whole. Adhering to values empowers individuals with immense strength, and therefore, one must never compromise on them under any circumstances, said senior entrepreneur and retired Air Force officer Ramesh Agrawal.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the oath-taking ceremony of the new executive committee of the Pune Brotherhood Foundation. On this occasion, entrepreneur Narendra Goyal took charge as President from outgoing President Sagar Agrawal.
The event was attended by Founder President Ishwarchand Goyal, Executive Director Pawan Bansal, Sanjay Agrawal, Sudhir Jawalekar (Treasurer, Seva Bharati West Maharashtra), Dwarka Jalan, Vijay Bhandari (President, JITO Apex), Manoj Chhajed, CA Jitesh Agrawal, Ruchi Goyal, Geeta Goyal, Kanta Goyal, Ramsharan Gupta, Premchand Mittal, Jai Bhagwan Goyal, along with several other dignitaries from various fields.
Ramesh Agrawal stated that every entrepreneur operates with a defined vision for business growth, which guides their functioning. Similarly, it is essential to uphold values in business practices. Without a foundation of values, even the vision of a business can be undermined.
Highlighting the role of employees, he said that they are crucial to the success of any enterprise. Therefore, they should not be treated as mere workers but as partners. Considering them as part of the family fosters a sense of belonging and ensures their support through both good and challenging times.
He further remarked that “empowering a hundred hands with skills is more important than worshipping a hundred idols.” Skilled individuals contribute significantly to building a brighter future for themselves, their families, society, and the nation.
Newly elected President Narendra Goyal stated that the Pune Brotherhood Foundation has made remarkable progress over the past 27 years. The platform provides opportunities for individuals to build new personal and professional relationships. He also expressed his commitment to increasing the number of events, enhancing member participation, encouraging women’s involvement, and engaging the younger generation in the organization’s activities.
