41st Installation CME of the Pune Obstetric and Gynaecological Society (POGS)

Pune : The 41st Installation CME of the Pune Obstetric and Gynaecological Society (POGS)  took place on Sunday on the auspicious occasion of Akshay Tritiya.
Dr Uma Wankhede, noted academician and Past Head of the Department, Baramati Govt Medical College took charge as President POGS along with well-known Gynaecologist – Dr Charulata Bapaye who took up as the General Secretary. The new office bearers include  Dr.Vaijayanti Patwardhan, Vice President and Dr Meenakshi Deshpande Executive Vice President,  Dr.Archana Pungliya, Clinical Secretary and Dr Amol Lunkad as the treasurer .

The program was graced by Chief Guest Dr Vidya Yeravdekar, Principal Director of Symbiosis Society, Guest of Honour Dr Bhaskar Pal, President FOGSI and Special Guest.Dr Ameya Purandare, President AMOGS. The program was well attended by all the Past Presidents along with eminent gynaecologists from the city of Pune. The installation coincided with the inauguration of PRAGATI 2026 – Stay Current, Stay Ahead, a vibrant and well-attended academic event for practicing gynaecologists. Engaging panel discussions, thought-provoking debates, valuable clinical pearls, along with the prestigious Anjaneyulu Oration and Dr A. V. Umranikar Oration, were among the highlights of this Conference.
